Popular internet sensation, Alax Evalsam, widely known as the “fish pie guy,” has sparked controversy by claiming that he was exploited following his rise to fame.

Evalsam became an online sensation after a video of him passionately hawking his snacks went viral, earning him admiration for his energy and hustle.

The fish pie guy’s newfound fame according to news reports attracted significant financial promises, including cash gifts, a car, and a shop to support his business dreams.

However, in an interview, Evalsam revealed a different reality, stating that he did not receive any of the financial assistance that was widely publicized. According to the fish pie vendor, he felt used by those who capitalized on his popularity.

Speaking about his brief partnership with a brand, he admitted he struggled with the comedic expectations placed on him, saying, “I wasn’t good at making people laugh. My talent is in cooking and decorations, not comedy.”
