Employ Romance To Advice Your Husband, Obasanjo Tells Aisha Buhari

Dr. Olusegun Obasanjo has commended First Lady Aisha Buhari on her public advocacy but urged her to employ her feminine and romantic influence in prevailing on her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari.

Obasanjo spoke on Monday when he received the editorial board of the social media platform, “Penpushing Media” at his Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

A statement issued by President Obasanjo’s media aide Kehinde Akinyemi, also quoted the former president as alluding to the important role of the media in building society.

Noting recent advocacies of the First Lady, Obasanjo said:

“we have to put all things on table to address these problems. Mind you, we have to be sincere and genuine with ourselves.

“It is nice that President wife is talking, I think she did well, and maybe she should also have a pillow talk with the President’

“I believe every Nigerian family, individual, group is entitled to livelihood. It is the responsibility of all to make sure we have a dignify life. That should be our aim collectively”.

Chairman of the editorial board of Penpushing Media, Mrs. Funke Fadugba had earlier told the president that they came to inform him of their plans for their third anniversary lecture holding in July.
