Chairmen of the Kogi and Yobe State chapters of the All Progressives Congress, APC have denied reports linking them to the reported moves to sack Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as national chairman of the ruling party.

The two men in separate statements affirmed that they were not signatories or participants in the meeting of aggrieved party members who met at Immaculate Hotel after the National Executive Committee, NEC meeting in Abuja last Friday.

The chairman of the Kogi State chapter of the party, Abdullahi Bello while distancing himself from the conspiracy said; “I, Abdullahi Bello, Chairman APC in Kogi state wholeheartedly disassociate myself from the list purportedly for the removal of HE Adams Oshiomhole as the national chairman of our great party, APC.

“I will not also hesitate to take any legal action against the masterminds of the purported list.”

Also dissociating himself from the plot against Oshiomhole, the Yobe State chairman of the party, Adamu Achilare said:

“I must align myself with the position of North East APC chairmen. I did not attend any meeting with the other group and do not know why they decided to forge my signature. I have no reasons to demand for the resignation of our party chairman because he has led the party very well with results so far,” Achilare noted.
