Wicked Father Who Burnt Buttocks Of 5-year-Old Son Held

Men of the Ogun State Police Command have apprehended a man for allegedly burning the buttocks, fingers, and mouth of his 5-year-old son who he accused of stealing a piece of fish.

The man, Idowu Sikiru was apprehended after neighbours alerted the police that the man was about to kill the child.

A statement issued by the Ogun State Police spokesman, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi said:

“Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect accused the boy of stealing a cooked fish and he put an aluminum plate on fire and when the plate was red hot, he forcefully sat the boy on it there and by that giving the victim a serious burn on his buttock. He equally used the plate to burn the victim’s fingers and part of his mouth.

“The victim has been rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

“Meanwhile, the commissioner of Police CP Kenneth Ebrimson has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to anti-human trafficking and child labour unit of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and possible prosecution.”
