The release of the latest James Bond Film, ‘No Time To Die’ has been postponed following fears of the coronavirus.

The film originally due for release in April will now be released in November,  MGM, Universal and the Bond producers, Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli announced in a statement on twitter.

The delay the producers said followed “careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace”.

Cinemas in China and most of Asia are already closing down on account of the coronavirus scare and it was believed that going ahead with the release would not be worth it.

The world premiere of the film earlier scheduled to take place on 31 March at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Some countries have already canvassed or ordered closure of venues used for public gatherings. Football matches in Italy which has the highest number of carriers outside China will be played in empty stadia.
