APC Has Great Benefits For Ndigbo – Uzodinma

Governor Hope Uzodimma has said that the All Progressives Congress, APC has great benefits for Ndigbo as they embrace the party.

The Governor spoke in Owerri when he hosted a meeting APC South East leaders at an end of the year meeting on Wednesday.

“He made it clear that the essence of the meeting was to brainstorm and chart the way forward for the zone especially in the party,” a statement made available to GWG by the governor’s media aide, Mrs. Nneamaka Okafor said.

“Gov. Uzodimma revealed that it was time the party takes over the zone as the South East leaders have decided to join the ruling All Progressives Congress, embark on reconciliatory moves amongst the members and encourage massive registration into the party.”

The governor was quoted as saying that the party was in the past blackmailed as not being a political party and clothed with several designs against Ndigbo.

He, however, expressed appreciation that South Easterners have realized the need to join the ruling party hence will make their stand known during the 2021 National Convention of the party reassuring that the APC has great benefits for Ndigbo.

Governor Uzodinma became the only APC governor in the Southeast after he was returned as winner of the Imo State governorship election in January.

Following his emergence, Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State subsequently joined to give the governor company.
