Mystery Turns To Revelation

Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Ephesians 3:5.

The  Christ which Paul speaks of openly here was until just before now a mystery; hidden away in other ages. The nearest that people knew of Christ before the gospel ages and Paul’s time was in bits and pieces of prophecy which some prophets proclaimed.

In the ages before Paul’s and ours, all that was known of Christ was buried in mystery; but from the gospel ages, what was a mystery became known.

Indeed, the discovery of a mystery turns such into a revelation.

What is a revelation to some ironically remains a mystery to those who do not have insight into it.

Now, it is a mystery to many who don’t know God why one should be a Christian!

But to u who have known Him, it is no longer a mystery as Christ in you has become the hope of all glory.
