Reno Omokri has called on Imo indigenes to give the cold shoulder to President Muhammadu Buhari when he arrives for his scheduled visit to the state on Thursday, September 9.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that President Buhari is expected to visit Imo State on Thursday to commission some projects executed by the Governor Hope Uzodimma administration.

In a tweet shared on his handle, Reno Omokri observed that any Imo person who comes out to welcome Buhari will be considered as a pariah forever especially given Buhari’s stance on Ndigbo as the 5% of the electorate.

He said:

Reactions to the advice from Reno Omorki to Imo citizens on the visit by Buhari were, however, varied.

Ebira Eldest Son @Muhammadeiza

Look at the person some people take as role model, lol he’s propagating political intolerance.

Chinedu Nwabueze @nwabukingedu

It is not political intolerance. The whole Easterner is Anti-Failure

Hazo @HonHazo

This is absolutely insightful.  If there is any uprising and you are called to account don’t say I didn’t warn you ooo

Don Funa @donfuna2015

instead of writing this, should have gone ahead and applaud the sit at home order that IPOB directorate of state have issued for that day.

Akuma50 @Akuma501

I just don’t want to use an inane n poorly worded language on this write up …but lets wait n see how this goes tomorrow..the game is already near

Other reactions on the advice from Omokri to Imo citizens on the visit of Buhari were as follow:

Nnamdi @Nnamdi30657747

We know those who will foolishly go to welcome him. But leave them to us, we will handle those who put personal interest above the collective interest and survival of the Igbo.

Kim Paul @PaulND1

I trust that part of the country on things like this . you will only see them outside from Sunday when Bubu most have gone

Freeman @charlescedars

Politicians will still take their hungry supporters to welcome him.
