Obaseki’s Govt Is Worst Political Scam In Edo History – Imuse, APC Chairman

State chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Col David Imuse Rtd has said that the party in Edo will soon make public details of why the Mr Godwin Obaseki-led PDP administration is the greatest scam that has ever happened in the political history of the state.

Describing the leadership of the PDP government in Edo State as that of a sole administrator, Col Imuse said he sympathized with Mr Obaseki for surrounding himself, “…with political sycophants, political predators, political opportunists and political vagabonds”.

Col Imuse said, “As you know we do not have a governor, we have a Sole Administrator. Obaseki’s PDP administration is the greatest scam that has ever happened in Edo political history. Details will be made known to Edo people very soon”.

Imuse condemned statements credited to Mr Obaseki on the lack of opposition in the State adding, “the party is now fully prepared to play the role of credible opposition with constructive criticisms based on facts and intelligence”.

On the party’s future plans, the APC chairman said with the political road to year 2023 and 2024 now under construction, a united APC in the state will not only deliver Edo to for the party but also retake the seat of Government in Benin City.

Full of praises for all members and leaders of the APC for their support and the confidence they have reposed in his leadership of the party, by electing him and his executive, Col Imuse appreciated all for the unity that was brought to bear on the exercise.

He then assured that his, ” leadership of our party will be governed with new ideas that will cater for now and the future; it has faced a lot of obstacles over time just as it has climbed many mountains and descended several valleys, prepared to meet the challenges of the future”.
