Nigerian music sensation Wizkid won the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best African Act at the 2021 edition on Sunday.

Wizkid pipped fellow Nigerian and collaborator Tems, Tanzanian Diamond Platnumz, Ghanaian Amaarae, and South African rapper, Focalistic to the award.
