Two of Nigeria’s leading Nollywood actresses, Iyabo Ojo and Faithia Williams, have shared loved-up pictures and with it quashing one of the most notorious beefs in the industry.

The two actresses had for about two years been estranged despite having previously been close friends.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that the beef started after Iyabo Ojo accused Faithia Williams of leaking to the media that she fell ill in Turkey.

She had written:

Iyabo had on February 5 written in a now deleted tweet that Faithia wanted her dead.

“After all I did for you 2 years ago to celebrate your bday in Turkey, you still snitched on me giving media fake news that I was in coma for 3 days! you wish bcos you knew about my surgery, I knew you hoped & prayed I died …. that’s why you never came to see me afterwards but guess what my God pass you, he is mightier than you, my God disappointed you & your team. I’m still living girl,” she said.

Faithia Williams also known as Faithia Balogun had come out to debunk the claim but Iyabo Ojo appeared not to have been convinced.

Faithia Williams subsequently condoled Iyabo Ojo on the death of her mother about a year ago, but the later refused to acknowledge it and the former subsequently deleted the post.

They had also subsequently unlike in the past ignored one another on their birthdays just as they unfollowed one another.

Faithia Williams was also reported to have pitched tent with Funke Akindele in the other famous fight between Iyabo Ojo and another super star in the industry.

However, on Tuesday all seemed to be bygone as the two super stars appeared to have been reconciled as they shared loved-up pictures on their Instagram pages.

Credit for the reconciliation appeared to have gone to the chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW in Lagos, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo.

The two actresses also appreciated veteran actor, Olaiya Igwe, in their reconciliation messages.

Iyabo Ojo wrote “It’s all peace and love, Faithia Williams. How we would follow each other back on Instagram is what’s remaining. Instagram experts, over to you. Thank you @kingmcoluomo, @olaiyaigwefilms.”

Sharing the same picture on her Instagram page, Williams, who is also known as Faithia Balogun, wrote, “Happy new year Iyabo Ojo. @kingmcoluomo, @olaiyaigwe films, more wisdom and understanding. Let peace reign.”

On Tuesday both actresses were anxious to start following one again in affirmation of the saying that love has won.
