Police Arraign Woman For Brutalizing Boy Who Stole Meat In Ondo

The Ondo State Police Command have arrainged a woman, identified as Omoyemi Opeyemi, for allegedly inflicting injuries on a boy, Joel Sunday for allegedly stealing meat from the pot of soup.

In a viral video, the nine-year-old boy was seen crying with marks on his body which indicated that his body was cut with a razor blade while bloodstains marred his body.

It was gathered that the incident happened on Sunday at Adebowale Area of Akure, the Ondo State capital.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed this development.

She said the suspect “would be made to face the full wrath of the law”.

The PPRO said the suspect had been arraigned in court by the police on Monday while the trial is ongoing at the magistrate court, Ondo Road.
