Osun: Reno Omokri Mocks APC As Portable Strips Down

Controversial human rights activist, Reno Omokri has taken to his official Twitter page to mock the All Progressive Congress (APC), as Nigerian singer, Portable stripped to his boxers during the party’s campaign in Osun state.

The fast rising star who has gotten tongues wagging following his recent act, was recently seen in Osun campaigning for the APC.

Recall that, Portable had drummed support for the APC and also endorsed Gboyega Oyetola, who is contesting for a second term as governor of Osun State on the platform of the party.

However, during a recent APC campaign in the state, Portable stripped down to his boxers before a monument of late first premier of Nigeria, Obafemi Awolowo.

Reacting to what Portable did, Reno Omokri slammed the All Progressive Congress, APC over such “vulgar display”. He further noted that no northerner would display such.

In his words: “ But how does this even help APC? This vulgar display on someone of such historical significance as Chief Obafemi Awolowo will even turn people against the party. What is this? No Northerner will do this to a statue of Ahmadu Bello! Why are we like this?”
