Revealed: Why Shettima Wore Suit With Sneakers To NBA Conference

A twitter user has revealed how confusion between the Nigerian Bar Association and the National Basketball Association made Senator Kashim Shettima to wear the lawyer’s garment and the basketball sneakers to the NBA conference in Lagos on Monday.

In a hilarious detour to the trending picture of the All Progressives Congress, APC vice-presidential candidate dressed in a suit and basketball sneakers, the twitter user, swagskelly01 revealed that Senator Shettima didn’t know which NBA invited him and as such dressed in a way to accommodate the two bodies. Shettima as such wore the lawyer’s suit and the basketball shoes to accommodate both interests according to the twitter user.

GWG had reported how the normally suave Senator Shettima stunned at the NBA conference with a suit and basketball sneakers causing a frenzy that clouded what some alleged as his otherwise articulate presentation to the conference.

The twitter user in explaining how Senator Shettima was confused as to which NBA invited him tweeted thus:

Meanwhile the outing has continued to accommodate different reactions with some trending the Shettima Challenge with many political actors taking different sides on the issue.

While some like APC Presidential Campaign spokesman, Festus Keyamo sought to make light of the dressing gaffe, others like the former pastor turned Peoples Democratic Party, PDP activist Reno Keyamo made jest of Senator Keyamo with their Shettima Chaallenge on the cusps of the NBA conference.
