Atiku Campaign Steps In As Joke Silva Gets More Flaks Over Tinubu

The camp of Atiku Abubakar Tuesday ferociously stepped in as Nigerians continued to savage veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva over her decision to support Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the 2023 presidential contest.

Reno Omokri, the Atiku camp’s leading social media warrior was quick to pinpoint supporters of Peter Obi as the culprits in the social media battery of Joke Silva over her support for Tinubu.

GWG.NG reports that Joke Silva had joined Remi Tinubu and other prominent women at the weekend to stage a demonstration for the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential candidate.

Questions As New Tinubu Picture Emerges From London

For many who had adored Joke Silva over the years on account of her prowess on celluloid, identifying with Tinubu was a let down for them and hence the attacks were immediately launched causing her to trend on social media.

GWG.NG reports that Joke Silva had to lock her comments section as the savage attacks on her over the Tinubu outing escalated.

Along the way, her husband, the equally respected thespian, Olu Jacobs who is suffering from Parkinson’s was brought in.

Many battered Joke Silva for leaving her husband at home for a political jaunt for Tinubu.

For many others, they questioned the rationale for her identifying with Tinubu who for them is also said to be suffering from the old age disease.

Ovie, no one insulted Olu Jacobs. Tinubu's health condition is as delicate as baba Olu Jacobs. We love Pa Olu. The wife stopped him from acting because of his condition. Why didn't Tinubu's wife do thesame? Why is Joke Silva supporting Bola who has similar condition as Olu?

The insinuations led Reno Omokri to step in. The Atiku social media warrior who has repeatedly bashed supporters of Peter Obi was quick to identify them as the culprits and savage them.

Please leave Olu Jacobs alone. The man is in frail health. You Obidients should not push him over the edge! All that his wife did is to support Tinubu. She did not kill anyone. She did not steal. She just exercised her freedom of choice, which is not a crime. #TableShaker

The way Obidients have been dragging Joke Silva and particularly her husband, Olu Jacobs, is very sad. Peter Obi was quick to release a statement about alleged attacks on Obidients. Yet, he stays silent while they tear at a couple going through a health crisis. Wow! #TableShaker
