Bobrisky Arrests Blogger, Silverdam Over Defamation
Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has taken Instagram blogger Tosin Silverdam to court over an allegation of using his workers for prostitution.
The allegation was made on Silverdam’s Telegram page, where he uploaded a video of a young female worker of Bobrisky’s allegedly engaging in sexual activity with a man.
The blogger accused Bobrisky of exploiting his workers and using them for prostitution.
Bobrisky responded by sending a message to Silverdam privately, requesting that he retract his statement or face legal action.
When Silverdam refused, Bobrisky followed through on his threat and took the blogger to court for character assassination.
Videos circulating online show both socialites at the office of the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), where Bobrisky filed a lawsuit against Silverdam.
According to sources, Bobrisky’s lawyers filed a petition with the AIG’s office, and both parties were asked to file formal complaints. If they are unable to resolve their issues, the matter may be taken to court.
This development has generated mixed reactions on social media, with some Nigerians expressing support for Bobrisky and others siding with Silverdam.
While some argue that Bobrisky has a right to protect his reputation, others maintain that Silverdam was within his rights to report what he believed to be the truth.
Bobrisky is a controversial figure in Nigeria, known for his flamboyant fashion style and controversial statements.
He has a large following on social media, where he frequently posts about his life and interacts with fans. Silverdam, on the other hand, is a popular blogger known for his entertainment news and gossip.
