Yoruba Woman, Husband Denied Voting In Lagos As They Look Like Igbo

A woman has made claims of being denied to exercise her civic right of voting because she looked like an Igbo person at a polling centre in Awoyaya, Lagos.

She was heard on video explaining that she is of Yoruba decent despite her bearing physical features of an Igbo person.

GWG.ng reports that when asked if she would vote APC, she replied ”Allow me enter first” and they proceeded to lock the gate. She shared her story on social media and Nigerians have taken to her side. GWG.ng gathered the tweets;

The funny thing is that, many of these guys are from Oyo, oke ogun, Kwara and other Yoruba speaking states but once they are in Lagos and they are touts they are automatic lagosian. let them keep spreading the hate we will all suffer the consequence
