Pope Francis Shares Views On S3x, Porn, LGBT Rights, Abortion, Others

Pope Francis has shared his opinions on homosexual activity, LGBT rights, and porn while referring to sex as “one of the beautiful things that God has given to the human person.”

The Disney+ documentary “The Pope: Answers,” which features him in a discussion with ten persons in their early 20s and was shot last year in Rome, features the 86-year-old pontiff making the remark.

They grilled Pope Francis on a range of subjects, including sex, sexual misconduct in the Catholic Church, the porn business, LGBT rights, and abortion.

In the documentary, he declared that “sex is one of the beautiful things that God has given to the human person.” ‘To express yourself sexually is a richness. So anything that detracts from real sexual expression lessens you and depletes this richness,’ he said, referring to masturbation.

Additionally, when questioned if he understood what a “non-binary person” is, Francis responded in the yes. He emphasized once more the need for the Catholic Church to embrace LGBT individuals.

“All persons are the children of God, all persons. God does not reject anybody, God is a father. And I have no right to expel anyone from the Church,’ he said.

Regarding abortion, Francis emphasized that while the procedure is still wrong, priests should be “merciful” to women who have chosen to end a pregnancy. The official Vatican newspaper, L’Osservatore Romano, covered the Pope Francis’s comments and called his discussion with the youth a “open and sincere dialogue.”
