Made Kuti Reacts To Claims Family Abandoned Seun Kuti 

Popular Singer, Made Kuti, nephew to embattled Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti, has reacted to claims that his family abandoned his uncle.

Recall that Seun Kuti was arrested, detained and arraigned after being filmed assaulting a police officer on the Third Mainland Bridge.

There were rumors over the continued silence of the family. 

However, in an Instagram post, Made proved critics wrong by sharing a photo of himself, his father, and their lawyer in court to support Seun.

The 27-year-old also expressed his dislike for using social media to prove his family’s efforts.

According to him, negative reactions to his father’s recent social media post prompted him to share the photo.

Made wrote;

“At court yesterday. I don’t like that we have to post things on social media to show/prove we’re doing everything we can as a family. But here you go,”

“Because of this many are cursing at us under my father’s last post, swearing at us for doing nothing. We must accept there’s much more to life than what we see on our phones”
