Davido Reveals He Wasn’t Paid To Perform At Alex Otti’s Inaugural Dinner 

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido has revealed that he voluntarily performed without payment at the reception dinner for Abia Governor, Alex Otti.

The revelation came through Davido’s official Twitter page, where he responded to questions from curious fans on Monday night.

Recall that a Twitter user had revealed that Davido is Dr. Alex Otti’s godson and was giving a full performance at the inauguration after-party in Umuahia, creating a remarkable spectacle.

Another Twitter user sought clarification, asking if Davido had performed for free.

In response, Davido confirmed that he did not receive any compensation for the performance while adding that he has known Governor Alex Otti all his life.

He expressed his belief in Otti’s ability to deliver good governance to the people of Abia state.

He wrote;

“Not a dime. I’ve known Excellency all my life… and I’m sure he will do well for the people of Abia state.”
