Full List: See Countries That Have Qualified For 2023 AFCON

At least 14 countries have qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations holding in Ivory Coast.

This follows the completion of Matchday 5 qualifying fixtures this weekend.

Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau have booked their spots from Group A. The Cape Verde Islands are through from Group B and Mali from Group G.

They join hosts Ivory Coast, holders Senegal, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Morocco, South

Africa, Tunisia and Zambia in the finals that kicks off January 2024.

A total of 24 countries – the top two teams in each of the 12 qualifying groups -will qualify to play in the tournament.

There are three more fixtures to complete the fifth rounds of qualifiers and they will all be played on Tuesday.

The TotalEnergies AFCON 2023 is scheduled to kick off on January 13 and will run until February 11 when the final will be played.

The opening match is set to be played the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, in the capital Abidjan.

This is the second time that the Ivorians are hosting the tournament, having staged the 1984 edition when Cameroon were crowned champions.
