In response to recent claims made by Mr Ibu’s wife, the Public Relations Officer (P.R.O) of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Kate Henshaw, has clarified the association’s stance regarding the actor’s situation.

Kate Henshaw emphatically stated that the AGN has consistently provided assistance to its members, especially during times of financial need or health emergencies. She debunked as ‘misinformation’ spread by Mr Ibu’s wife, saying that the Guild has been supporting the actor since 2021.

Addressing the challenges faced by Mr Ibu, Henshaw highlighted that in cases of recurring health issues, the guild can only do so much. It is now up to the individual to find additional funds for their healthcare. While acknowledging the difficult situation, Henshaw emphasized that AGN’s support for Mr Ibu remains steadfast and genuine.
