In a plea for financial assistance, veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has reached out to well-meaning Nigerians days after a video of him at a filling station went viral.
The actor, who recently made headlines for reflecting on his entertainment industry journey during the encounter, shared a video on his Instagram page, looking better than in the previous viral footage.
In the video, the 63-year-old actor emphasized his significant contributions to the country and appealed to Nigerians for support. Expressing gratitude to his fans and Governor Sheriff, Hanks Anuku acknowledged his status as an entertainer and shared the challenges he is currently facing. In his words, “I have worked for this country. I have attained the height of a legend. I implore Nigerians to support me, no amount is too small.”
