Foreign And Nigerian Disciples Open Up On Alleged Abuse By TB Joshua In BBC Documentary (Video)
Disciples of the late TB Joshua have come forward to recount instances of physical and psychological abuse in the wake of the BBC’s investigative documentary. The three-part series exposed the controversial founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) over alleged sexual harassment, abuse of disciples, and staged miracles.
Sources revealed to the BBC that despite the church’s awareness of the accusations, no internal investigation was conducted. The alleged incidents of abuse spanned over two decades, with victims sharing graphic details of their experiences.
In a snippet shared by BBC Africa, disciples, some of whom were underage at the time, recounted instances of severe abuse. One disciple revealed being slapped by TB Joshua for not publishing an article on time, while others described him as a hot-tempered individual.
