Kcee on Harrysong

Renowned singer and co-founder of Five Star Music, Kcee has made startling accusations against his former signee, Harrysong alleging that he forged his signature to secure funds from clients.

This revelation comes just weeks after Harrysong publicly criticized the 5 Star Records label, which is managed by Kcee and his brother E-money, for allegedly withholding his royalties.

GWG.ng reports that the rift between the two artistes intensified when Harrysong departed from Five Star Music in 2016. The label, owned by Emeka Okonkwo, who is incidentally Kcee’s brother, claims that Harrysong breached his three-year contract by failing to deliver on the agreed-upon three album releases.

The feud had escalated to the point of Harrysong facing legal troubles with two arrests. However, in a recent social media post, Harrysong claimed that Kcee has been taking all the royalties from his hit songs for the past seven years. In a plea to Kcee, whom he referred to as a “bully,” Harrysong requested a fair share of his well-deserved royalties.

Responding to these accusations, Kcee addressed the situation in a candid interview on ‘The Afrobeat Podcast.’ He revealed that Harrysong is still under a five-year contract with 5 Star Records. However, Kcee asserted that there is an ongoing criminal case against Harrysong for forging both his and his brother’s signatures to unlawfully collect money from clients.

The revelation adds a layer of complexity to the ongoing dispute, highlighting legal implications and painting a vivid picture of the disagreements between the two artists and the record label. As this saga unfolds, the music industry and fans are left to navigate the intricacies of loyalty, contractual obligations, and the pursuit of justice in the world of entertainment. Stay tuned for further developments in this gripping musical drama.
