The leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has declared a two-day nationwide mass protest against hardship to hold on February 27 and 28.

The national president of the NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero, announced this on Friday following an emergency meeting of the leadership of the labour cetnre at Labour House, Abuja.

According to Ajaero the decision to protest against hardship was taken after the expiration of the 14-day ultimatum earlier issued to the Federal Government over the nationwide difficulties in the land.

GWG.ng reports that the ultimatum jointly given by the NLC and the Trade Union Congress, TUC was issued to press the demands for reforms to address the current hardship being faced by Nigerians.
