The heartwarming incident unfolded when Osimhen spotted a video shared by popular Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut, showcasing the young fan dressed in a football jersey and wearing a mask resembling the footballer’s face. The video, which quickly gained traction online, depicted the child enthusiastically playing with a football, mimicking Osimhen’s signature moves.

Moved by the youngster’s admiration and dedication, Osimhen wasted no time in reaching out to Tunde Ednut, expressing his desire to locate and reward the young fan. With the assistance of content creator Eriq Morak, the duo successfully traced the boy’s whereabouts to Ivory Coast, debunking the initial assumption that he was Nigerian.

In a heartwarming gesture, Osimhen generously gifted the young fan a substantial sum of N2.5 million, much to the delight and gratitude of the boy’s family. A video shared by the family captured their overwhelming appreciation for the football star’s benevolent gesture.
