Naira Abuse: Portable Fears Arrest, Blames VeryDarkMan (Video)

In a recent live Instagram session, Nigerian music star Portable expressed his fear that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) could arrest him upon his return to Nigeria.

The fear of arrest comes after self-proclaimed social media activist VeryDarkMan called for the agency to investigate Portable for allegedly abusing the Naira.

GWG.ng reports that Portable had recently pleaded for forgiveness from the EFCC earlier this month, stating that he was unaware of the consequences of his actions. However, he now believes that VeryDarkMan’s accusations have put him in the crosshairs of the EFCC.

In an exasperated outburst, Portable lashed out at VeryDarkMan, saying: “I’m scared. The EFCC is planning to arrest me when I return to Nigeria because of your accusations. VeryDarkMan, or should I say VeryDarkBrain, you talk too much! Leave the talking to those who have something sensible to say. Are you a law enforcement officer? Your opinions on public affairs are for those in the law enforcement agencies.”

Portable also took a jab at VeryDarkMan’s past arrest and release, saying: “When you were arrested, it was Nigerians who begged for your freedom. When you came out, you were lean; all your muscles disappeared. And now you’re bragging? Leave the talking to those who are sensible. You talk about women, politics, everything. What do you do for a living? Tok tok.”

The drama between Portable and VeryDarkMan has sparked a heated debate online, with many calling for the EFCC to investigate the allegations and others defending Portable’s actions as harmless. The situation remains tense, and fans are eagerly awaiting the outcome.”
