Apostle Suleman attack sponsors

In a heartwarming display of philanthropy, Apostle Johnson Suleman, founder of Omega Fire Ministries, has transformed the life of a young man with a surprise gift of N25m during a church service on Sunday, June 9th, 2024.

The clergyman called the young man to the front of the church and asked if he was aware of a previous encounter between him and his mother. The young man revealed that he had watched the incident online. Apostle Suleman then pulled out his phone and asked the young man to type in his account number, and promptly transferred N25 million into his account.

While the gesture has been met with praise from some, others have expressed skepticism, suggesting that the incident may have been staged to boost the clergyman’s image.

This act of kindness is part of a larger trend of charitable giving by Nigerian celebrities and religious leaders. Recently, Funke Akindele donated over N2 million to various Celestial Churches in Nigeria to support their ‘Month of Children’s Harvest’ celebrations. She expressed her desire to support over 20 churches with N100,000 each, and received an outpouring of goodwill messages from her fans.

Similarly, Nigerian Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed, awarded scholarships to 50 students at the University of Port Harcourt, covering their tuition fees for one year.
