Storm Over Incoming Edo First Lady As PDP Man Drags PDP, LP Candidates

Lawrence Okoro, a prominent Peoples Democratic (PDP) Supporter, has publicly questioned the ability of the Edo state Labor Party Governorship Candidate, Olumide Akpata, to rule the state if elected as Governor.
Okoro who questioned the LP aspirant via his Official X handle, held that Akpata cannot rule Edo state because he cannot provide a first lady.
He wrote, “A man that can not run a family can not Govern a state”. Please where is the wife of your candidate, it’s important we know who you intend to make the First Lady.
Meanwhile, Okoro who is also an ardent supporter of Peter Obi, hailed Asue Ighodalo of the PDP who has severally been seen in the media campaigning alongside his wife.
He wrote, “Since this campaign started it’s been just Ifeyinwa Ighodalo that has been visibly campaigning side by side with her husband as it should be.”
However, contrasting this with other Governorship Aspirants, he said, “The wife of the APC candidate is too ashamed to even campaign with the man for avoidance of being disgraced publicly.
“The LP candidate can’t even provide a First Lady. His level of arrogance can’t even keep a woman at home, nor run a family successfully. You can’t give what you don’t have.”
