Leave Me Out The Protests, Whitemoney Tells Nigerians
Whitemoney, the winner of Big Brother Naija’s Shine Ya Eyes season, has addressed Nigerians amid the ongoing protests against bad governance.
In an Instagram story, he distanced himself from the country’s current challenges, stating that he is not the cause of their problems.
Whitemoney who won the show over three years ago, urged Nigerians to focus on the real issues rather than dragging him into the conversation concerning the protests. He emphasized that he didn’t force anyone to vote for him during his time in the BBN house and asked to be left alone.
Whitemoney also made it clear that he is not an activist and has no intention of becoming one through joining the protests. He advised those who don’t like his content to unfollow him, adding a sarcastic “Amen” at the end of his message.
The stance by Whitemoney came after fellow BBNaija winner Phyna entered the conversations over the protests as she called for an end to bad governance, declaring her support for a better Nigeria. Phyna’s message was in contrast to Whitemoney’s, showing the differing views among celebrities on the ongoing protests.
