Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman Wins African Footballer Of The Year Award

Nigeria and Atalanta player Ademola Lookman has won the African Footballer of the Year Award, 2024 presented by the Confederation of African Football, CAF.

The award was announced minutes ago at the award ceremony in Marrakesh, Morocco.

Speaking after he won the award, the player started by greeting the audience in Yoruba, saying Ekale as he expressed his pride in the award.

GWG.ng reports that Ademola Lookman dressed in Yoruba agbada was escorted to the ceremony by his parents.

Chiamaka Nnadozie had earlier won the best goalkeeper of the year award.
