UBA Reinforces Lagos Security With N500m To Security Trust Fund
United Bank for Africa (UBA), through its corporate social responsibility arm, UBA Foundation, has donated N500 million to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), reaffirming its dedication to fostering a secure environment for businesses and residents.
The cheque was presented on Sunday at the Lagos State House, Marina, by UBA Group Chairman Tony Elumelu, accompanied by Deputy Managing Director Mr. Muyiwa Akinyemi. Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu received the donation, expressing gratitude for the bank’s contribution toward strengthening the state’s security framework.
Speaking at the event, Tony Elumelu highlighted UBA’s commitment to security as a cornerstone for economic stability and societal well-being. He said:

Our donation to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund reflects our belief in building safer communities to enhance the quality of life for all. Governor Sanwo-Olu commended UBA Foundation for its unwavering support and impactful contributions to Lagos State’s development. He said:
