Anger As Tinubu Associate And Comedian Is Listed For Sale On Merchant Website
Nigerian comedian and actor Seyi Law, recently famed for his unavowed support for President Bola Tinubu has become the subject of online ridicule and with it anger from some quarters after a merchant website, Temu allegedly listed him for sale at ₦11,427.
Anger has swelled up after popular actor, Seyi Law recently renowned for his unabashed support for President Bola Tinubu was listed for sale on the merchant website, Temu.
The bizarre incident, which gained traction on X (formerly Twitter), was highlighted by influencer @UnkleAyo. Sharing a screenshot of the listing, the influencer mocked Seyi Law by describing him as an “item” available for purchase and directed followers to the platform, Temu.
The post read, “If you posted derivatives of this tweet 40 times, I’ll quote it 40 times with this same picture. If you’re looking for the item in the picture, you can find it on Temu.”
This sparked widespread reactions online, with many users condemning the post as disrespectful to Seyi Law and warning of potential repercussions for the influencer for posting the actor for sale on Temu. Others weighed in with mixed opinions, further fueling the debate about online decency and cyberbullying.
