Breaking: Saraki Players, Officials Involved In Road Accident (Photos)

Players and officials of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC were involved in a road accident on Monday morning while returning from their NNL matches in Lagos.

The accident occurred along the Ogbomoso-Ilorin Expressway, but fortunately, no lives were lost.

Confirming the incident, the club’s Media Director, Tosh Michaels, assured that while some members of the team sustained minor injuries, there were no fatalities.

Besides the accident involving the players of Saraki FC, GWG.ng reports that The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has issued a stern warning to Nigerians about the increasing risk of fire outbreaks in the coming months, urging strict precautionary measures to prevent disasters.

Speaking during the church’s February Thanksgiving Service at the Throne of Grace Parish, Ebute-Metta, Lagos, Pastor Adeboye emphasized the importance of vigilance, prayer, and proactive safety measures to mitigate potential fire tragedies.

The cleric urged individuals, businesses, and government agencies to prioritize fire safety, advising proper handling of electrical appliances, the use of fire-resistant materials, and strict adherence to fire prevention guidelines.
