2Face: Family Petitions DSS Says Singer Missing, Cannot Be Reached (Letter)
By Gideon Ayeni

The family of Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2face, has filed a petition with the Department of State Services (DSS) following his sudden disappearance days after his viral proposal to Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
The petition, signed by the family’s lawyer, Wilson Anuge Esq., on February 7, states that 2face was last seen on Monday, February 10, when he left his residence alone. Since then, his phone has been unreachable, and all attempts to trace him have been unsuccessful, raising fears of possible abduction or foul play.

2face disappearance comes in the wake of intense public backlash over his engagement to Natasha, which followed his highly publicized separation from his wife, Annie Idibia, after years of marital turbulence. The controversy surrounding the proposal has fueled speculation, especially given the strong reactions from both fans and critics.
GWG.ng reports that 2face’s mother, Rose Idibia, had earlier voiced concerns about her son’s relationship with Natasha, alleging that he was being manipulated. Now, with his sudden disappearance, the family fears he may be in danger and has called on the DSS to intervene urgently.
As concerns mount, Nigerians await further updates on the singer’s whereabouts and the outcome of the investigation.
