Fears over the health of a yet-to-be-identified 14-year-old boy who was raped over a period of two months by a 29-year-old Nigerian lady, Idris Marian have come to the fore following observations that the lady involved looks like an HIV patient.

GWG.ng reports that 29-year-old woman, Idris Mariam was remanded in prison custody by an Ago-Iwoye Magistrate Court for the alleged serial rape of a 14-year-old boy (name withheld) in the Muslim High School Area of Ago-Iwoye.

Ms Idris Mariam was arraigned by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Ogun State Command over the alleged act of rape that reportedly commenced in December 2024.

She is alleged to have slept with the boy less than half her age at least eight times between December 23, 2024 and when she was caught in February.

The spokesman of the command, Dyke Ogbonnaya, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, said:

“The survivor, in the course of investigation, opened up that the defendant has been having these s3xual assaults with him since December 23, 2024, for successive eight times,” the statement read.

“After the completion of investigation, a motion for ex parte to remand the defendant at the Nigeria Correctional Centre, Ijebu-Ode, for 60 days was filed by the legal team of the State Command at Ago-Iwoye Magisterial Court.”

GWG.ng reports that reactions to the despicable act have been varied with many calling for justice and some calling out the lady over her action.

While some said that she should have sought other means of amusing herself, a particular commenter observed that the suspect looks like a HIV patient as such asking for HIV screening for the 14-year-old victim.

“They should conduct a medical examination on that boy asap. This woman looks like a HIV candidate,” the commenter said of the rape allegedly committed by Idris Mariam.
