Russia Celebrates Fallout Between Trump And Zelensky
By Benjamin Abioye

A heated argument broke out in the Oval Office on Friday when the U.S. President and the Ukrainian leader disagreed over American support for Ukraine. The discussion quickly turned tense, marking a significant shift in their diplomatic relationship.
During the meeting, the U.S. President and his Vice President criticized the Ukrainian leader, claiming he was not showing enough appreciation for American assistance. They also accused him of blocking efforts to negotiate peace with Russia as the war continued for a third year.
“You’re not really in a very good position,” the U.S. President told the Ukrainian leader. “You don’t have the cards right now. With us, you start having cards.”
“I’m not playing cards,” the Ukrainian leader responded.
As the conversation intensified, the U.S. President raised his voice, accusing him of endangering millions of lives and increasing the risk of a larger conflict. The Vice President went further, calling him “disrespectful” and questioning his gratitude.
“Have you said ‘thank you’ once?” the Vice President asked.
After the heated exchange, the U.S. President abruptly ended the meeting and told the Ukrainian delegation to leave, according to a senior official. A joint press conference that had been scheduled was canceled. Additionally, the Ukrainian leader left without finalizing an agreement that would have allowed the U.S. access to Ukraine’s rare earth minerals.
Following the meeting, the U.S. President made a strong statement on social media, saying the Ukrainian leader would not be welcome back until he was “ready for peace.”
Despite the tense encounter, the Ukrainian leader remained diplomatic. He expressed gratitude to the U.S. government, Congress, and the American people for their ongoing support. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry responded defiantly, stating, “We have our own things to do. Glory to Ukraine.”
Russia quickly reacted to the situation. A Kremlin representative called the moment “historic,” while Russian media portrayed the Ukrainian leader as unstable and ungrateful. A major Russian news outlet ran a headline describing the incident as shocking.
Earlier that day, the Ukrainian leader had met with U.S. senators from both parties to discuss military aid and security matters. Despite the difficult meeting with the U.S. President, he reiterated his appreciation for America’s continued support.
