Man Nabbed For Sleeping With Married Pregnant Woman In Need Of Money (Video)
By Benjamin Abioye

A shocking incident has surfaced online, showing a man allegedly caught with a seven-month-pregnant woman. The viral video has sparked widespread reactions, with many debating the situation.
In the circulating footage across Nigerian news platforms, the man identified himself as John Peter, a commercial motorcycle rider (okada) who has been working in the area for the past eleven years.
Explaining his side of the story, John Peter stated that he met the woman at her workplace, where she worked as a lesson teacher. According to him, she complained about being hungry and struggling financially.
“She agreed that I should take her to my place. We had an agreement to be intimate, and I gave her some money in exchange,” he explained. However, he was later caught in the act with the woman, leading to the viral footage.
The video has triggered various reactions, with some condemning the act and others defending the man.
One social media user, Mirabel (@MarianVictor18), blamed the woman’s husband, saying, “Men, learn how to care for your wives. Her husband is probably enjoying outside while neglecting his pregnant wife.”
Another user, DIVINE T (@Folasheycrown22), questioned the outrage, saying, “What’s the man’s fault? They had an agreement. He didn’t kill anyone.”
While some criticized the man, others shifted focus to those who filmed and shared the video. Utopia (@JacobAmeh6) expressed displeasure, saying, “Catching my pregnant wife cheating is one thing, but recording and posting it online? That’s crossing the line. I’d sue.”
Others called out the community for their judgmental stance. Godwin Ekedum (@NwokeAkwaeze) wrote, “Shame on this community. The woman wasn’t forced; she made her own decision. Many of those judging have done worse in secret.”
Meanwhile, Gozie (@Gozie_mu) questioned the fairness of the situation, asking, “This is a shameful act, but these are two consenting adults. Will the woman also be arrested for the act?”
Some even made lighthearted remarks. THE REALIST (@Gbengawhite_) humorously suggested, “Are you sure he’s not the real father of the pregnancy?”
The incident has stirred conversations about morality, poverty, and privacy. While some argue that the man and woman are adults capable of making decisions, others believe the act is unacceptable, especially since the woman is married.
The debate continues online as many question the ethics of public shaming, the responsibilities of a husband, and the struggles women face during pregnancy.
