Mohbad’s Widow Reveals Plan For Nurse Who Injected Her Husband (Video)

Olawunmi Aloba, the widow of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has opened up about her struggles since her husband’s tragic passing, expressing her unwillingness to forgive the nurse who administered the fatal injection.

Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba, died on September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances that remain unresolved despite multiple court hearings, police investigations, and public outcry. His body remains unburied as authorities continue their probe.

In an interview, Wunmi revealed that the nurse responsible for administering the injection has shown no remorse and is set to face an inquest on March 14, 2025.

“She made me a widow. She’s been living her life without a care in the world. I really don’t know if the injection my husband was given was a mistake,” she stated.

According to Wunmi, the nurse was called in because Mohbad’s personal nurse was unavailable at the time. She disclosed that a close associate recommended the nurse, a decision that has since haunted her.

Speaking on how the tragedy has affected her and their young son, Liam, she lamented that he is yet to experience the joys of childhood.

“If I see the nurse face to face, the only thing I will tell her is that she will experience everything she has done to me,” she added.
