Legendary Fuji musician Pasuma has finally settled his dispute with Taye Currency in Mecca during Umrah 2025, urging fans to forgive and move on.
Popular Fuji musician Pasuma has finally made peace with his former protégé, Taye Currency, after their long-standing disagreement.
GWG.ng reports that the reconciliation happened in Mecca during the ongoing Umrah 2025. In a widely shared video, both artistes were seen sitting together, talking calmly.
Their fallout began in 2024 after what was once a mentor-protégé bond turned into open and subtle clashes on social media. The issue started in October 2024 when Taye Currency rejected being called Pasuma’s “industry father.” He stated that Pasuma was just an elder brother and not someone who could be seen as a father figure.
His comment led to heated debates online, with many of Pasuma’s fans criticizing him. Following the backlash, Taye Currency later made a public video, expressing regret and apologizing to Pasuma for any offense he caused.
During their reunion, Pasuma urged his fans to let go of the past and forgive Taye Currency. He told them, “Forget everything and move on.”
