Legendary Fuji musician Saheed Osupa has warned Portable and Taye Currency, saying he will take action against them for their disrespect, even after an apology.
Popular Fuji musician Saheed Osupa has warned Nigerian singer Portable and fellow Fuji artiste Taye Currency, saying he will take action against them for disrespecting him.
A week ago, Portable accused Osupa of removing his song from streaming platforms over copyright issues. In a widely shared Instagram video, Portable called Osupa “big for nothing” for reporting his song on Spotify and Apple Music.
After receiving criticism for his remarks, Portable later apologized publicly to Osupa.
Meanwhile, another Fuji artiste, Taye Currency, upset Osupa’s fans when he referred to Osupa as just a “colleague” during his reunion with his former boss, Pasuma.
During a recent live performance, Osupa responded to both incidents. He said, “You will still be dealt with because you think you can come for an elder. I am coming for you.”
As the audience chanted Portable’s name, Osupa added, “Ati colleague mi, má wò rí. Mo n bò,” which means, “And my colleague, don’t worry, I’m coming for you.”
