According to her, the funds she invested were earnings she had toiled for during her years working in Libya, hoping to start a new life back home.

“I used my own $200 to invest, then I collected money from my friends to add to it,” she lamented in the viral clip. She revealed that it was her neighbor who introduced her to the investment opportunity shortly after she returned to Nigeria.
