Delta APC Scribe Who Jumped To PDP Justifies Oborevwori’s Defection To His Former Party
By Imman Onyero

Comrade Nick Ovuakporie erstwhile state secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC who dumped the party for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP days before the 2023 governorship election justifies the defection of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to his former party.
In a statement made available to GWG.ng he said:
In the realm of politics, decisions are often made that have far-reaching implications for the development and progress of a state. One such decision has recently been made by His Excellency, Governor Sheriff F.O Oborevwori, which has sparked a wave of support from various quarters.
In his statement, Otunba Nick Ovuakporie draws a parallel between the recent decision and the famous song “Movement of Jah’s people” by the legendary Bob Marley describing the movement to APC as divinely ordained. He commends the genius of the decision, which he is completely aligned with and in total compliance to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
For Otunba Nick Ovuakporie, the move by Oborevwori is not just any decision; it is a homecoming as a founding member of the APC and the Immediate Past Delta State Secretary of the party. He calls on all leaders across the length and breadth of the State to continue to support the More Agenda Policies of His Excellency, the Governor, and the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President.
GWG.ng reports that Ovuakporie presently serves as a senior aide of Governor Oborevwori.
