Obi Cubana Adopted Son Next of Kin

The drama began after a young man—allegedly adopted by Obi Cubana—claimed to be his next of kin in a viral TikTok video. The claim sparked intense online reactions, prompting Obi Cubana to publicly clarify that his biological son, Alex Iyiegbu, is his legitimate next of kin.

Reacting to the development, Geh Geh praised the nightlife mogul for swiftly addressing the misinformation but didn’t hold back in criticizing the increasing trend of young people positioning themselves for inheritance rather than working hard.

In a video shared online, Geh Geh mocked the idea of “next of kin” becoming a profession in Nigeria. He said:

“I really applaud your effort, the way you set that record straight. Next-of-kin for Nigeria no wan work again. ‘What do you do for a living?’ — I am a next-of-kin. Since when next-of-kin turn to occupation for this country? Wetin another man dey labour…”

The financial adviser went on to suggest that Obi Cubana should consider willing his entire fortune to charity. According to him, this would teach his children to build their own success stories rather than rely on his achievements.

Geh Geh captioned his post:

“Obi Cubana should will all his properties to charity if he wants his children to become successful (My advice to Obi Cubana and his Next of kin’s).”

The video has since gone viral as netizens’ shared their opinion on the advice.

However, it’s left to be seen whether Obi Cubana will follow the advice or not.

@provii8: “Make person catch this Gehgeh for me”

@legendDboy: “😂 if I am been honest this Obi stuff is not right”

@mr_adebayo55: “You don dey talk nonsense o gheghe.
I go pour spit for your face”

@Sire_Franky: “Inasmuch as I agree with you, willing your properties to charity, when you’ve children, isn’t nice. No good father will deliberately leave his child empty-handed. Rather, teach your child(ren) ways to make money, and then sponsor him/them with your wealth. ✌️
