Lagos, FCT, Lead As NCDC Reports 404 New Cases

Nigeria recorded 404 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday in 19 states and the FCT, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has reported in its latest accounts of the pandemic in the country.

There were also five deaths attributed to the disease in the country in the past day.

The new cases brought the total number of cases in the country to 42,208 with 19,004 persons successfully treated and discharged.

873 persons have died from the pandemic the NCDC said in its tweet.

Lagos, FCT and Rivers had the highest number of new cases of 106, 54 and 48 respectively.
