The protesters who ignored the heavy morning downpour to pour out their frustrations called on the incoming governor of the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to address their plight.

The demonstrators who came under the aegis of “Fix Lagos-Badagry Expressway Now Mass Movement” carried different placards with some bearing inscriptions such as Enough is Enough, We are also tax payers, No Retreat No Surrender.
