Kebbi Gov Disowns SSG On Appointment Of 40 SAs And 100 SSAs

Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State has disowned the Secretary to the State Government, Babale Yauri over the appointment of 100 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and 40 Special Advisers (SAs).

Yauri had caused a sensation with his announcement that the governor had appointed 40 SAs and 100 SSAs leading to an outpouring of condemnation.

Responding to the development on Sunday, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Yahaya Sarki denied the SSG saying the news was fake.

Sarki in the statement said: “My attention has been drawn to a purported list being circulated in the Social Media containing the names of newly appointed SAs and SSAs by Kebbi State Government.

“Members of the public are informed to disregard that list as it has not originated from Kebbi State Government by any means.

“The purported list of SAs and SSAs to the governor of the state government being circulated in social media is once again false”.
