Agbowu Calls Six Monarchs As Witnesses In N100 Million Suit Against Olowu

The Agbowu of Ogbaagba, Oba Dhikirullahi Akinropo, has slammed Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, with N100m damages suit before an Osun State High Court, over an alleged assault against him.

Oba Akinropo is also asking the court to award N1m against the defendant, Oluwo for cost of legal services.

This was contained, in a writ of summons dated 27th February, 2020 issued by his council, Soji Oyetayo.

The writ supported by a 39 paragraphs statement of claims, the claimant also asked for an injunction to restraint the defendant, his servants and or agents from further committing acts of assault on him.

Oba Akanbi also alleged that Oluwo attacked him at the AIG’s office in the presence of other monarchs and some members of the state executive council, adding that the resulting injury was later treated at Osun State Specialist Hospital, Asibiaro, Osogbo.

Meanwhile, six monarchs, deposed in an affidavit, claimed to have witnessed the alleged assault.
