Hope As Lagos Sees Fewer New COVID-19 Cases

There were 14 deaths and a marginal increase of 5% in the number of new daily cases to 304, optimism of Nigeria flattening the curve of COVID-19 cases continued on Tuesday.

The 304 new cases up from the 288 recorded on Tuesday were in 18 states and the FCT. Lagos which had been the epicenter of the pandemic also recorded its lowest number of daily cases in months after reporting 59 new cases.

The FCT had the highest number of new cases with 90 followed by Lagos and Ondo States with 59 and 39 new cases respectively.

The 304 new cases brought the total number of cases in the country to 44,433 while the number of those discharged now stood at 31,851 and total death since the pandemic stood at 910.
